KRAIBURG KEW Plus Visco: Provides adaptation to the body. Provides noticeable relief.
KRAIBURG expands its proven KEW Plus mattress system for free stalls with a new generation of comfort. With KEW Plus Visco and KEW Plus Visco TarsaCare, the company launches two options that enhance the proven system with an additional visco-elastic foam layer. The result is lying mattresses that adapt even better to the cow’s body shape and noticeably increase lying comfort. Naturally, they also meet the highest Softness Class 4 in accordance with DIN 3763.

Four layers for enhanced lying comfort
At the heart of this new development is a 4-layer composition consisting of a lower mat, upper mat, conventional foam and additional memory foam. The visco-elastic layer enables particularly gentle sinking in and supports even pressure distribution. The result is a lying mattress approx. 10 cm thick that purposefully combines comfort, stability and slip resistance. The animals benefit from even pressure relief in every position and an almost weightless feeling when resting.
Designed for hygiene and everyday barn use
The functional cushion shape, with its pronounced raised section, allows milk residues and moisture to drain away from the lying area. This helps improve lying area hygiene. The construction is also designed for long-term practical use: sealing lips completely enclose the foam layers and the lower mat, reliably protecting the foam. Trapezoidal reinforcements above the foam increase stability and durability. Prefabricated, countersunk fixing points in the head area also facilitate installation.

Two options to suit different requirements
KEW Plus Visco features a robust and low maintenance pebbled surface. The KEW Plus Visco TarsaCare option enhances the visco-elastic comfort with a specially designed TarsaCare comfort zone in the rear third of the mat. Pliant ball-shaped segments allow the sensitive hock joints to rest particularly gently. The structure promotes better ventilation of the skin, resulting in a drier coat. Furthermore, the ball-shaped segments hold even small amounts of bedding firmly in place, thereby encouraging the build-up of an organic layer.

More freedom in modern free stalls
KEW Plus Visco and KEW Plus Visco TarsaCare are suitable for free stalls with suspended dividers and mushroom dividers. From a width of 120 cm, a lying length of 1.92 m is available. The longer lying area provides more freedom for natural movements when lying down, lying and getting up.
With KEW Plus Visco, KRAIBURG is consistently advancing the established KEW Plus system. The new generation of comfort combines body-conforming adaptation with the requirements of practical long-term use in the barn. The result is a solution that meaningfully brings together animal welfare, functionality and longevity.
