Parlour renovation

The light coloured, coated floor in the parlour of the Jerg farm had slowly become slippery and cracked, due to many years of usage. Renovating with asphalt or other coverings would have made the parlour unusable for a long time. Mr. Jerg decided to renovate with KURA Flex rubber mats, which can be installed easily in between two milking times.

Before renovation

KURA Flex mats were installed in the parlour:

the parlour is completely covered with the mats

where necessary, mats are cut to fit

not required puzzle pieces at the end of an area are cut off

then the mats are fastened with nail plugs

the renovated parlour is ready for use again

KURA Flex:

• for paved / concrete floors without scraper

• with puzzle shaped edges on 2, 3 or 4 sides in various dimensions

Depending on situation / requirements, there are various installation options:

• using the floating method (with no fastenings)
• one-sided fastening to wall / pit
• “all around” fastening (complete surface is fastened)
