No wear, even after more than 10 years

Josef Ettenhuber runs a dairy farm with 80 dairy cows and 80 young cattle. He has been using CALMA mats in the elevated young cattle cubicles since 2009.

“It is important to us that the cubicles are quick and easy to muck out. The mats make it absolutely brilliant! We almost never have to scrape them, because the animals’ movement as they lie down pushes the manure backwards and it simply drops down. Even after more than 10 years, the mats have no worn patches and right from the start, the animals like to lie down on them because they're nice and soft.”
