Trafficability

profiKURA 3D can be driven on with standard equipment such as farm yard loader or tractor with authorized pneumatic tyres at the recommended inflation pressure up to max. 4 bar. (Notice: drive with due care and steer in large radiuses!)

Scraper manure removal

Most scraper models automatically adapt to the slope towards the walking alley centre or can be adapted in the inclination – to be checked with the manufacturer, if necessary.
In principle we recommend the use of scrapers specifically developed for rubber floors. For structural alterations it is necessary to adapt the scraper facilities in coordination with the scraper manufacturer according to the KRAIBURG guidelines for manure scrapers. Robot collectors must be suitable for use on rubber floors.

Important:

Check the scraper at least once a year and grind off the sharp edges!

Tips for maintenance
  • Keep the walking and milking area flooring as clean as possible
    › Important for claw health and slip resistance!
  • Treatment with a high-pressure cleaner, as well as with standard cleaning agents is possible

Claw abrasion & improved grip

Abrasive walking area mats create optimized claw abrasion, very similar to conditions in nature, where sandy constituents in the elastic soil ensure that horn formation and abrasion are kept balanced.

With profiKURA the abrasive corundum is incorporated into the surface and thereby promotes gentle claw abrasion. The corundum also supports even better slip resistance with animal-friendly softness.
