Improved joint health

The new dairy cattle house on Marieke Laabs’s farm, housing 80 dairy cows with milking robots, was completed in 2004.

“We've had the soft KKM mats in our elevated cubicles since 2009. The cows like them and they still offer the same levels of lying comfort today. Since we fitted the mats, the joint health of our animals has improved and remains good.”
