News about KRAIBURG animal house floorings made of rubber

Happy with KURA P, even after 15 years

The new dairy cattle house on Marieke Laabs’s farm, housing 80 dairy cows with milking robots, was completed in 2004. The walking alleys are covered with KURA P.

“We’re still very happy with KRAIBURG rubber mats, even after 15 years. There are no signs of wear on the KURA mats, despite their long service.

We milk almost 80 cows. Since we increased the number of cows, our milk yield has also risen on average. The willingness to walk and sure-footedness of our cows is still good. Because the cows show clear signs of heat and we consequently achieve good pregnancy rates, we are now much closer to our goal of breeding long-lived cows.

To ensure the best possible claw abrasion, we would be keen to equip some areas with higher-abrasion rubber mats (pediKURA) in the future.”
